Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and engaging middle school math teacher to lead a summer Algebra Readiness course designed to prepare rising 8th grade students for success in Algebra. The program focuses on strengthening foundational skills, building conceptual understanding, and developing math confidence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted math instruction focused on prerequisite algebra skills
• Use explicit instruction and formative assessment to guide teaching
• Differentiate lessons to support diverse learners
• Monitor and document student progress
• Maintain a positive, structured learning environment

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification in Mathematics or Middle Grades Education
• Experience teaching middle school math preferred
• Strong knowledge of foundational algebra concepts
• Ability to build relationships and motivate learners
